You know what I miss? I miss the rocket and parma ham pizza from Casa Verde. Best pizza ever.

59th month anniversary.
Every weekend I make it a point to listen to an artist to see if I missed out anything good, so I’ll fire up Spotify and listen to all their albums. Emilé Sande, The Naked And Famous and this weekend is Jack Johnson plus The Great Gatsby Soundtrack.
Today was amazing. I never thought I would have such an amazing weekend without Meryl around. Every weekend since she went for exchange has been pretty dull because Saturdays are for dating and when I suddenly didn’t have anyone to go out with on Saturday I was so lost.
Met up with my transport supervisors and we went to this $45 Japanese buffet restaurant called Ikoi at Miramar Hotel. What is so good about this buffet? “Hi I want to order 100 slices of salmon sashimi and 10 california hand rolls”. Fucking stuffed myself with salmon sashimi, hand rolls and tempura. I swear they didn’t make money from us during lunch today. After our lunch we all squeezed into a car and drove to Clarke Quay for beer and Hokkaido ice cream. Along the way I kept winding down the windows to shout at random passers by. I had so much fun this afternoon.
In the evening I met up with my family at Plaza Sing and we watched Star Trek: Into Darkness. There was this part in the movie where this person asked Benedict Cumberpatch who he was and I thought to myself that he was going to reply “Holmes, Sherlock Holmes”. What a great day.
Currently working out to Ke$ha’s Die Young, great workout song. Basically all clubbing songs are amazing to workout to.
Imagine reading a book of every conversation where people have spoken about you.

is it just me or is talking to your hairdresser the most uncomfortable thing in the world

So good to be back from camp. It’s eleven at night. Acoustic + chill playing on 8tracks, lemongrass scent all around the room with the air conditioning on, catching up on news + Tumblr and everything else on the internet.
Meryl is in Paris now. She has been sending me postcards from all over Europe. I still haven’t received the one she sent me from Venice. Somehow she reminds me of the article Date A Girl Who Travels. Sometimes I can’t believe we are making this long distance relationship work. Sometimes I can’t believe that we have been together for five years and known each other for six. Our 59th month anniversary is coming up this Sunday and my reaction is “wow it has been that long already?”.
Parcels and postcards. I send her parcels and she sends me postcards.
